How long a beach volleyball bracket takes
In beach volleyball, a best-of-three match to 21, 21 and 15 takes about 40 minutes with the changeovers, so this page uses 40-minute slots. A knockout is the quickest way to a winner: every match removes one entry, so a field of any size needs one match fewer than its entries. Rounds still run one after another, and the early rounds are the wide ones, so the first round decides how many courts are needed.
