Valorant bracket generator with the lower bracket drawn
Paste your teams for a double elimination bracket: upper bracket, lower bracket and grand final. This page assumes every series in a round starts together, as it does in an online event, so a round costs one series length.

In brief
How do you make a Valorant bracket?
The Tournamyx Valorant bracket generator draws a double elimination bracket for Valorant teams: an upper bracket, a lower bracket and a grand final. A 16-team bracket runs 30 matches in 11 rounds, about 8.3 hours when every set is a best-of-one.
Every generator on Tournamyx is free and needs no account. Running the same event live, with scores, standings and a public link, happens at scores.tournamyx.com, free for up to 8 players.

How it works
Draw a Valorant bracket in three steps.

Enter your teams
Paste the list or use the auto-fill. The first line is the top seed, and byes go to the top seeds if the field is not a power of two.

The upper and lower brackets appear
Every team starts in the upper bracket. A loss drops a team to the lower bracket, and a second loss ends its run.
- 3done
Enter results and entries move
Type a score and the winner advances while the loser drops down. The champion appears after the grand final.
Field guide
How long a Valorant double elimination bracket takes
A Valorant map is first to 13 rounds and takes 35 to 45 minutes in practice, so this page budgets 45 minutes for a best-of-one, with agent select and setup, and two hours for a best-of-three, because the third map is played often enough to plan for. This page assumes every series in a round starts together, as it does in an online event, so a round costs one series length.
A 16-team bracket is 4 upper bracket rounds, 6 lower bracket rounds and the grand final, 11 rounds and 30 matches. That is 8.3 hours at best-of-one and 22 hours at best-of-three. Few events run best-of-three in every round: the usual plan is best-of-one early and best-of-three late, which lands between the two columns.
Valorant double elimination, all matches in a round at once
| Teams | Matches | Rounds | Best-of-one (45 min) | Best-of-three (120 min) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 | 14 | 8 | 6 h | 16 h |
| 16 | 30 | 11 | 8.3 h | 22 h |
| 32 | 62 | 14 | 10.5 h | 28 h |
Valorant brackets: what the game changes
A best-of-three adds a map pick-and-ban phase before the first map, and that time is inside the two hours. Teams are five players, so check-in means five names and any substitute, and the no-show rule belongs in your rules before round one.
Upper bracket, lower bracket and the grand final
The upper bracket is an ordinary knockout. A team that loses there drops into the lower bracket instead of going home, and a team that loses in the lower bracket is out, so nobody is eliminated before their second defeat. The grand final is the upper bracket winner against the lower bracket winner. In Tournamyx Scores you choose at generation time whether it is one match or a bracket reset, and it is worth publishing that choice before registration closes. The format explainer is double elimination, and the double elimination bracket generator draws any field size, not just Valorant.
More than 32 teams
This generator draws up to 32 teams. For a bigger open qualifier, Swiss is a better first stage, with the top eight or sixteen going into a double elimination playoff. Tournamyx Scores runs double elimination for 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 teams. For the whole event, see esports tournament software and how to run an esports tournament.

How many matches are in a 16-team Valorant double elimination bracket?
30 matches over 11 rounds. Every team but the champion goes out after two defeats, and each match produces one defeat, so the bracket needs 2 times the number of teams minus 2 matches.
How long does a Valorant double elimination bracket take at best-of-three?
A 16-team bracket takes 22 hours at best-of-three, using about 120 minutes a round with every match in a round started together. At best-of-one it takes 8.3 hours.
Can I run a Valorant bracket live with results?
Yes. Tournamyx Scores runs double elimination live for 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 teams with one public link. The free plan covers 8 participants, so a larger field needs Plus (64 participants) or a one-off event unlock.
