In brief
How do you calculate battle royale tournament points?
Battle royale tournament points are placement points plus kill points for every match, added up across the event. In Free Fire first place scores 12, so a win with 15 kills is 27 points. In PUBG Mobile first place scores 10, so a win with 12 kills is 22. The Tournamyx calculator on this page does the sums for a whole lobby and ranks the squads.
Every generator on Tournamyx is free and needs no account. Running the same event live, with scores, standings and a public link, happens at scores.tournamyx.com, free for up to 8 players.
Battle royale points calculator at a glance
- Makes
- A standings table from each squad’s place and kills in each match, using the Free Fire table, the PUBG Mobile table or one you type in
- Best for
- The organiser of a Free Fire, PUBG Mobile or custom-room battle royale event who is rebuilding the standings in a spreadsheet between matches
- Price
- Free, with no usage limit, because the generator on this page is not metered
- Account needed
- Nothing to sign up for and nothing to install
- Data stored
- Nothing. The generator runs in your browser, and closing the tab discards the draw
- Largest field
- Up to 20 squads and 8 matches in the calculator on this page
- Where it stops
- It ranks one lobby only and keeps nothing once you close the page. Tournamyx Scores adds up the points you enter for each match and shows them on a public link; the calculator is where a place and kills become those points
- Live version
- Tournamyx Scores runs the same event live, free for up to 8 players, with a public link spectators open without an account
How it works
Work out battle royale points in three steps.
- 1~10 sec
Pick the points table
Free Fire and PUBG Mobile are built in. Choose Custom to type the points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and the points per kill.
- 2~1 min
Enter place and kills for each match
Type the squads, then for each match the finishing place and kills. A place entered twice in one match is flagged.
- 3done
The standings rank themselves
Total points decide first. Ties go to total kills, then the best single-match finish, then the most recent match.

Placement points and kill points
A battle royale lobby has no bracket, because every squad plays every match at once and nobody is knocked out. Instead each match gives a squad placement points for where it finished and one point, or more, for every kill. Add the matches together and the lobby ranks itself. Free Fire hands out 57 placement points a match and PUBG Mobile 32, which is why kills decide more of a PUBG Mobile table: half the lobby scores nothing for placement.
Several curves are in use and they change between events, so publish the one you are using before the first match. The two below are the ones the Free Fire guide and the PUBG Mobile guide use.
Placement points by finishing place
| Place | Free Fire | PUBG Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 12 | 10 |
| 2 | 9 | 6 |
| 3 | 8 | 5 |
| 4 | 7 | 4 |
| 5 | 6 | 3 |
| 6 | 5 | 2 |
| 7 | 4 | 1 |
| 8 | 3 | 1 |
| 9 | 2 | 0 |
| 10 | 1 | 0 |
| 11 | 0 | 0 |
| 12 | 0 | 0 |
| 13 | no place | 0 |
| 14 | no place | 0 |
| 15 | no place | 0 |
| 16 | no place | 0 |
Why you cannot add two lobbies together
Points earned against different opposition are not comparable: a strong squad in a weak lobby will outscore a stronger one in a hard lobby. A lobby holds 12 Free Fire squads or 16 PUBG Mobile squads, so a bigger event needs a group rotation, separate divisions, or a qualifying stage into a final lobby with the points reset. The PUBG Mobile guide works through the rotation for 24 and 32 squads.
Run it live in Tournamyx Scores
The calculator keeps nothing. Tournamyx Scores runs the event: create a placement stage, set the number of matches, record the points for each match, and set how attempts are combined to all added up so the table is the running total. Squads follow the table on one public link between lobbies. The app adds up the points you enter for each match, so work them out here first. See esports tournament software for the whole event.

How many points is first place worth in a battle royale tournament?
It depends on the table. Free Fire gives 12 for first place and PUBG Mobile 10, plus 1 point for every kill in both. The calculator also accepts a table of your own.
Can I use the calculator for Fortnite, Apex or Call of Duty battle royale?
Yes, with the Custom table: type the points for first place, second place and so on, and the points per kill. The calculator adds placement and kill points for any game that scores that way.
How does the calculator break ties?
On total kills first, then the best single-match finish, then the finish in the most recent match. That is a common order, not a rule of any game, so publish the order you use before the first match.
