CS2 bracket generator with Swiss rounds worked out

Paste your teams for a Swiss draw: every team plays every round and nobody is knocked out early. This page assumes every match in a round starts together, as it does in an online event, so a round costs one series length.

Round 2

Pairings appear once every round 1 match has a score. Swiss pairs teams on equal records, so the draw genuinely doesn’t exist yet.

Score a round and the next one pairs itself: winners meet winners, and no pair ever meets twice. Nothing is saved here; Tournamyx Scores generates each round live and shares one link.

In brief

How do you make a CS2 bracket?

The Tournamyx CS2 bracket generator pairs a Swiss stage: each round matches teams on the same record, and the table ranks on points, 3 for a win, with Buchholz as the tie-break. A 16-team field plays 4 rounds and 32 matches, about 3 hours at best-of-one when every match in a round starts together.

Every generator on Tournamyx is free and needs no account. Running the same event live, with scores, standings and a public link, happens at scores.tournamyx.com, free for up to 8 players.

How it works

Draw a CS2 bracket in three steps.

  1. 1~1 min

    Enter your teams

Paste the list or use the auto-fill. Order does not matter for round one, which is drawn at random.

  2. 2~5 sec

    Round one appears

Later rounds pair teams on the same record, and nobody meets the same opponent twice. Enter round one and the next appears.

  3. 3done

Enter results and the table sorts

Points are 3 for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, with Buchholz as the tie-break. The table is final after the last round.

Field guide

How long a CS2 Swiss bracket takes

A CS2 map is first to 13 rounds and takes about 40 minutes, so this page budgets 45 minutes for a best-of-one, with the map veto and server setup, and two hours for a best-of-three. This page assumes every match in a round starts together, as it does in an online event, so a round costs one series length.

A Swiss stage is shorter than it looks: 16 teams play 4 rounds and 32 matches, which is 3 hours at best-of-one and 8 hours if every round were best-of-three. Few events do that, because the early rounds decide little. The usual plan is best-of-one until the rounds that settle who goes through, and best-of-three for those.

CS2 brackets: what the game changes

CS2 Majors play a Swiss stage in which a team stays in until it reaches three wins or three losses. This generator is a simpler cousin: it runs a fixed number of rounds, the log base 2 of the field rounded up, and ranks on points with Buchholz as the tie-break. Check the current Major rules if you want to copy them exactly.

Swiss, then a playoff

A Swiss stage ranks a field without cutting it, so most events follow it with a short bracket for the top of the table. This generator ends at the table; build the playoff as a double elimination bracket or a single elimination bracket from the teams that qualify. The format explainer is how a Swiss system tournament works, and the Swiss tournament generator draws any field, not just CS2.

More than 24 teams

This generator pairs up to 24 teams. A bigger open qualifier is better split into groups or a longer Swiss, which Tournamyx Scores runs live. For the whole event, see esports tournament software and how to run an esports tournament.

How many rounds does a 16-team CS2 Swiss stage need?

4 rounds and 32 matches. The generator runs the log base 2 of the field rounded up, which is enough to separate one clear leader. At best-of-one with every match in a round started together, that is 3 hours.

Is the CS2 Swiss format the same as the one the Majors use?

No. This generator runs a fixed number of rounds and ranks on points with Buchholz as the tie-break. The Majors keep a team in until it reaches three wins or three losses. Check the current rules of any event you want to match exactly.

Can I run a CS2 Swiss stage live with results?

Yes. Tournamyx Scores runs Swiss live with a public link, and the free plan covers 8 participants, so a larger field needs Plus (64 participants) or a one-off event unlock.
